How CTECHI Battery works

How CTECHI Home Energy Storage System works

Seamless communication across all energy systems

Use cloud-based software to connect solar energy to the building’s current energy system, strategically turn on and off certain systems (for example, heating, lighting) when needed, and obtain electricity from the solar system at the most appropriate time to reduce the two Kind of electricity demand costs and indirect costs.

Optimize building load

CTECHI Home Energy Storage System actively and dynamically interacts with building RTUs, solar systems, batteries, lighting equipment, etc. to reduce peak demand and usage time costs. Use each system only when the building manager and system software deem it necessary. All of these are controlled in the user-friendly remote access control panel.

Advanced machine learning

CTECHI Home Energy Storage System learns and adapts to how the occupants in the building use it, to adapt to the patterns and trends observed over time, with the goal of continuously reducing energy consumption. Factors such as building utilization, solar production trends, and weather patterns are also used to predict the building’s future energy needs.

Learn more about battery energy storage

What is battery energy storage?

The battery energy storage system works in conjunction with solar panels (or other renewable resources, such as wind turbines) to store the power generation for use at the best time. These commercial batteries are rechargeable and can perform more advanced functions such as peak shaving and load transfer.

Peak shaving involves reducing energy consumption during peak hours of a day (or even a year), while load shifting disperses power consumption from one time period to another. Both are great ways to reduce utility bills, and can be done using battery energy storage systems.

How battery energy storage works

Peak clipping and load transfer can be done through a simple process. First, the battery will be charged by collecting clean renewable energy from solar, wind or other renewable resources. The advanced algorithms in the battery system will then coordinate when to distribute energy to the building based on past usage history and other factors such as weather conditions or time of day. Finally, when your device uses the highest energy, the energy stored in the battery will be released

Main benefits: store on-site power and reduce dependence on the grid

Excess energy generated by renewable energy systems (such as solar panels) can be stored in batteries and used later, thereby reducing the organization's dependence on utility providers. In turn, this reduces your electricity bill.

Disaster recovery using batteries

Batteries can give your organization a backup power source in an emergency. If your power supply is interrupted, a battery is the ideal solution to ensure temporarily available power. This is especially important for companies with larger server space or a higher dependence on technology.
